Software Project Lead

Responsibilities

• Support Development in resolving operational issues related to Software after start of Mass production.
• Support technical evaluation on field feedback and cost reduction improvement.
• Resolving issue such as coding change, co-ordinate with third party for Software solution and changes, and provide the resolution to the field, identify test plan for Beta testing requirement, provide software update/upgrade support to intranet site.
• Estimate additional resources requirement within the development labs to resolve capacity/design issues.
• Provide technical support to the team on Change Request, raise Engineering Changes and update of SW technical product documentation.
• Provide technical support on feasibility study and estimation on impact consequences from change requests.
• Recommend preventive action and learning to the organization.
  Your Profile
• Degree in EE/Software Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of working experience in Software Development.
• Experience in managing; at least a complete life cycle of software project from pre-concept to complete product delivery for industrialization.
• Experience in managing system integration and 3rd party software subcontract delivery.
• Knowledge of the relevant technology: audio and video (transmission and codec), connectivity (USB, HDMI, uPnP, 802.11x), digital right management would be strong added advantages.
• Knowledge of software engineering and Capability Maturity Model (CMM), common project management methods (Planning, process tracking, exception management reporting).
• Strong interpersonal skill, team work and interaction with other department.
• Analytical, strategic thinking and self-driven.
• Initiative and leadership skills
