Yes, David Beckham! The football / soccer superstar and celebrity, husband of Victoria “Posh” SpiceGirls, Motorola’s Global Brand Ambassador, England Team Captain (he was), and Gillette’s ads star.

Now, he will be with you! Here in U.S. David Beckham had decided to leave Europe, the place where soccer is very popular. Many people are upset. But, Beckham will bring a new era to U.S. soccer.

Last January, Beckham had made a confirmation that he would no longer play for Real Madrid (champion of La Lega, Spanish’s soccer league). He had agreed to play for L.A. Galaxy (based in Los Angeles) for a 5-year contract that valued at least US $ 50 million. Experts estimate Beckham will worth up to U.S. $250 million by this decision.

Could Beckham bring soccer become most popular sport in U.S.?
